1. Ticket Availability
One of the biggest challenges during the festive season is getting a confirmed train ticket. Even many people try to book tickets a month ago but they also did’nt get it as tickets are already full at very early phase. During the festival season, when trains are overloaded, cleanliness often takes a backseat. Washrooms are overused, litter in compartments and inadequate cleaning services makes it very unhygienic.

Due to overcrowd, Indian Railway often announces special trains for festivals to accommodate the large number of passengers. The special trains run on popular routes and you should must keep updating yourself about the announcement of special train and as soon as special train was announced, you just book the ticket otherwise it will also full soon.

Not just the trains, but the railway stations during festivals are packed with people. Ticket counters are at long queues by the passengers, even people struggle to find the coach and get into their seat, especially while you are travelling with family of a lot of luugage.
