Dashashwamedh Ghat
The Dashashwamedh Ghat is one of the most popular and lively ghat in Varanasi. Attending ganga aarti is lifetime experience, which takes place every evening. Some spiritual beliefs also says bathing in this ghat gives moksha.
Sarnath
Sarnath is a sacred buddhist pilgrimage places, which is just 10km away from Varanasi. Lord Buddha teaches about life in Sarnath. Ramnagar Fort is built in the 18th century as a home of Maharaja of Banaras. It’s sandstone structure attracts tourist from all over the world. It also has museum that display historical weapons.
Assi Ghat
Assi ghat is the 80th ghat of Varanasi starting from Manikarnika ghat. People hire boat from Assi ghat for boating throughout the ghats over the Ganga river. Walking from Assin Ghat to Manikarnika ghat is also a lifetime experiece as it shows multiple things from the past.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
Banaras Hindu University is one of the largest universities in Asia, which was founded in 1916. Inside the campus of BHU, new Kashi Vishwanath temple was made which was also a major attraction of Banaras. Walking through the University campus is also very peacefull.
