KEDARNATH
Rishikesh
Rishikesh, known as the “Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas,” is a serene town on the banks of the Ganges River. It’s famous for its spiritual atmosphere, yoga retreats, and adventure sports like white-water rafting. Key attractions include the iconic Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, and the Parmarth Niketan Ashram.
Devprayag
Devprayag is the sacred confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers, forming the holy Ganges. This picturesque town is an important pilgrimage site and offers a tranquil environment. Key attractions include the Raghunathji Temple and the Sangam point.
Rudraprayag
Rudraprayag is another significant confluence, where the Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers meet. It’s named after Lord Shiva (Rudra) and offers scenic views and a peaceful ambiance. Key attractions include the Rudranath Temple and the Chamunda Devi Temple.
Sonprayag
Sonprayag is a small hamlet at the confluence of the Basuki and Mandakini rivers. It is a significant stop for pilgrims heading to Kedarnath. The place is known for its serene environment and the Triyuginarayan Temple, believed to be the place where Lord Shiva married Goddess Parvati.
Gaurikund
Gaurikund is the last motorable stop on the way to Kedarnath. It is famous for its hot springs and the Gauri Mata Temple, dedicated to Goddess Parvati. Pilgrims start their trek to Kedarnath from here, which is about 16 kilometers away.
Kedarnath
Kedarnath is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in India, dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is part of the Char Dham Yatra and one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. The Kedarnath Temple, located at an altitude of 3,583 meters, is surrounded by majestic snow-capped peaks, including the Kedarnath range. Chorabari Tal
A high-altitude lake located about 3 kilometers from Kedarnath, Chorabari Tal is also known as Gandhi Sarovar because a portion of Mahatma Gandhi’s ashes was immersed here. The lake is surrounded by beautiful glaciers and offers a serene and peaceful environment.
Bhairav Temple
Situated just 1 kilometer from the Kedarnath Temple, the Bhairav Temple is dedicated to Bhairav, a fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva. It is believed that Bhairav Nath protects the Kedarnath Temple and the valley during the winter months when the temple remains closed.
Morning: Arrive in Haridwar by train or bus from your city with other travellers from your city or state.
Afternoon: Meetup with other solo travelers from different places.
Evening: Explore Haridwar, visit Har Ki Pauri, and attend the Ganga Aarti.
Overnight: Stay in Haridwar
Morning: Early breakfast and gather for the journey to Guptkashi by road (approximately 8-9 hours).
Afternoon: Enjoy the scenic drive through Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and other picturesque locations.
Evening: Arrive in Guptkashi, check-in at your chosen accommodation and relax.
Overnight: Stay in Guptkashi
Morning: Early breakfast and drive to Gaurikund (30 km).
Morning: Start the trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath (16 km).
Afternoon: Arrive in Kedarnath, check-in at your chosen accommodation.
Evening: Visit Kedarnath Temple, attend evening Aarti. Enjoy with other solo travelers.
Overnight: Stay in Kedarnath
Morning: Attend the early morning Aarti at Kedarnath Temple.
Morning: After breakfast, start the trek back to Gaurikund.
Afternoon: Drive back to Guptkashi.
Evening: Relax and unwind after the trek.
Overnight: Stay in Guptkashi
Morning: After breakfast, drive back to Rishikesh (8-9 hours).
Afternoon: Arrive in Rishikesh, check-in at the hotel, and relax.
Evening: Explore Rishikesh, visit the iconic Laxman Jhula and attend the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan.
Overnight: Stay in Rishikesh.
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning: Say by to other fellow travellers and return back to your hometown via train.

Yes you are free to change your journey date only if any group is present on other dates.
